What the Uniform Kept™ is a podcast hosted by DiNo, an Air Force Master Sergeant Retired, built around honest conversations about military life, service, sacrifice, leadership, friendship, transition, and the experiences that remain long after the uniform comes off.
Through firsthand stories, conversations with fellow veterans, listener-submitted experiences, and moments from military history, the podcast explores the funny, difficult, meaningful, and often unspoken parts of service—and what those experiences continue to mean once the uniform is gone.
Every episode of What the Uniform Kept™ begins with a simple idea: some of the most important military stories aren't the ones written in history books. Expect conversations about leadership, friendships, deployments, mistakes, transitions, military humor, lessons learned, life after service, and the memories that still surface years later. Some episodes will come from DiNo's own experiences, while others will give fellow veterans and listeners a place to share theirs. No speeches. No pretending every memory is easy. Just conversations worth having.
DiNo is an Air Force Master Sergeant Retired who served 20 years in the United States Air Force, including eight years in Security Forces and twelve years in Air Transportation. What the Uniform Kept™ grew from a desire to talk openly about the experiences, relationships, lessons, and memories that don't simply disappear when military service ends.
